Are you or someone you know in the market for a wheelchair accessible van? Is money, as they say, an “object”? What if there was a way you could have everything you need in a handicap van without spending an obscene amount of money? What if you could have greater independence at a reasonable cost? What if you could feel safe, comfortable, and free to go anywhere and everywhere at a price you can afford? What if there was a way to make it happen today?
There is. Buy a used handicap van instead of a new one. It's that simple.
AMS Vans LLC. specializes in vans for passengers in a wheelchair. We sell used wheelchair accessible Dodge Grand Caravan, Chrysler Town & Country, Honda Odyssey, and Volkswagen Routan minivans, to which we've added a brand-new AMS Vans wheelchair conversion. The AMS Vans conversion philosophy is "Strong, Simple and Safe." By focusing on these three objectives, we're able to keep the side entry conversion price as much $10,000 less than then Braun or Vantage Mobility Mobility conversions.
What's more, innovative conversion manufacturer AMS Vans has eliminated 20% of the devices that cause 80% of adaptive van problems with their groundbreaking design, making the AMS Vans conversion the simplest to operate and maintain. Before we modify a used van for wheelchair accessibility, the vehicle must pass a rigorous 134-point inspection to make it certified used handicap van. If the minivan doesn't meet our strict standards, it doesn't make it to our inventory. Period. And you may also be interested to know that, when you buy a used wheelchair van online, you lower the price of your van even more.
Our mobility sales team is trained to ask the appropriate questions to ensure you get the wheelchair accessible van that meets your mobility needs best. AMS Vans also has guidance on our web site to help you find funding and grants for wheelchair accessible vans. Our goal is simple: we want you to get the handicap van ideally suited for you at a price you can afford, and a confident online buying experience.
